Too many for a sedan stretch. A squeeze in the 14 Passenger Navigator Limo. Not quite enough people to fill a party bus without it feeling like a half-attended event. Across all the markets in our records, about 33% of limousine inquiries with a headcount were for eleven to twenty people, so wanting a limousine at this size is common enough.
Houston leans smaller than that, with the large majority of local limousine requests coming from groups of ten or fewer. What that tends to mean in practice is that a group of twelve assumes a limo is not on the table and books a bus by default. How many adults fit for a whole evening
Plan on twelve, and be pleasantly surprised if thirteen works.
Sixteen is the count of seat positions on the wrap-around bench, measured shoulder to shoulder with nothing in anyone's lap. Twelve adults leaves room to cross your legs and reach the door without climbing over a friend. Thirteen is fine for jeans. Fourteen or more in anything formal and the whole group spends the night perched on the front edge of the cushion.
Western wear changes the arithmetic on its own. Cowboy hats do not stay on heads inside a limo cabin, so they ride in laps or take over the spare stretch of bench, and boots want more floor than sneakers. Twelve people with hats use the space that fourteen in T-shirts would. Why it is easier to board than a sedan limo
The Excursion began life as a full-size SUV, so the floor sits higher and the door opening is taller than anything on a Chrysler 300 or a Lincoln sedan stretch. You step up and duck a little rather than folding down into a low car. For a group carrying a parent with a bad knee, someone in a fitted dress, or anybody breaking in stiff new boots, that shows up at every stop of the night and not just the first.
Standing upright is still not happening. If moving around inside matters more than the look from the curb, the 16 Passenger Party Bus offers the headroom and an open floor at the same seat count. Stretched SUV limousines in this class typically have wrap-around leather seating, a driver partition, a fiber optic ceiling, a sound system and a bar area, with TV screens on some vehicles. Confirm what the vehicle on your quote carries, especially how phones connect to the audio, because that is the detail groups discover too late.
Taking a limo to the rodeo
The Houston Livestock Show and Rodeo runs about three weeks from late February into March, and the evening performances pair the rodeo with a concert in NRG Stadium. Settle the pickup plan before you walk through the gates. Traffic on Kirby Drive, Main Street and the South Loop backs up hard when a concert lets out, and cell service inside a full stadium can be slow enough to strand you. Pick a meeting spot, put the driver's number in two phones rather than one, and accept that the first twenty or thirty minutes after the show will be the slowest part of the drive home.
Rodeo nights stretch, and requests of that shape are common here: about 34% of Houston inquiries with a stated duration asked for five to six hours. Starting from Cypress, Katy or The Woodlands, six is the safer number once you have counted the drive in and the wait at the end.
Decide where you are meeting before the concert, not after it.

Among limousine inquiries across all markets with a historical quote on file, about 47% fell between $1,000 and $1,499 and about 9% fell between $300 and $999. Those bands mix sedan stretches with SUV stretches and short dinners with long nights, and they are past quotes rather than a price for this vehicle. When something else is the better call
